Gmail’s “New Look” Manifesto +

I really do love it when sites offer well-planned descriptions of upgrade/changes for the users instead of just *surprise!* Gmail’s “new look” has an enormous amount of unsettling changes, but at least they’re
a) allowing users to opt-in for right now, giving us a sense of control
b) allowing users to keep the “classic” theme (for now)
c) soliciting feedback immediately and
c) offering an extensive outline of changes

Unfortunately, this list is too text heavy and burdensome. They did so much work on the transition, but forgot about the UX. At least it’s a step in the right direction.
